Invisible axle strain becomes real-time weighing

On-Board Weighing
Intelligent Load Sensing

GX-6 load sensing unit bonds onto the axle and turns its microscopic, load-induced deformation into accurate, real-time axle and payload weight — with no drilling, no welding and no change to the axle structure.

Why GX-6

A single GX-6, one complete weighing node.

GX-6 replaces the traditional separate strain sensor plus signal processor with one ultra-compact intelligent unit — sensor, signal conditioning, temperature compensation, edge processing and CAN communication integrated in a 25 × 25 × 14 mm package.

Precision by design

A low-noise, zero-drift, continuously variable-gain analog front end paired with a high-performance ADC reliably captures the minute strain signals that carry load information.

Integrated temperature compensation

Two integrated temperature sensors continuously monitor both the sensing unit temperature and the PCB temperature, holding zero drift to ≤ ±0.01 % F.S./°C.

On-board intelligent filtering

Edge processing applies moving-average, FIR and Kalman filtering to balance response speed and measurement stability.

Software-configurable calibration

Zero and gain are set in software — no mechanical adjustment. Parameters live in Flash; firmware updates over the bus.

Built for harsh duty

Fully potted IP67 module, −40 to +85 °C, tested against vibration, shock, damp heat and salt spray for long-term on-vehicle stability.

Distributed CAN network

CAN 2.0B at 500 kbps links up to 32 units on one bus — cover every axle, from 2-axle trucks to multi-axle trailers.

How it works

From axle to insight, in real time

Two GX-6 units are bonded near the wheels of each axle — the load-bearing points. Every unit continuously measures the local axle strain, computes the load carried at that point, and streams it over the vehicle CAN bus. The system sums the axles to give you live payload, per-axle and even per-wheel load data.

  • One unit per wheel point — no drilling, welding or structural modification
  • Distributed measurement → edge processing → centralized display
  • Real-time axle and payload data without weighbridge stops
  • Open integration with fleet management and telematics via standard interfaces & API
